  • Mark a playing area 30m long x 20m wide with 6 or more cones. Form two teams, one team starts scattered within this area, the other teams spread across one end of the zone.
  • Players must run from one end of the zone to the other, i.e. (A) to (B), avoiding being touched by handballs fired at them by players within the zone.
Players in the zone must be stay in the same spot whenever someone is running through
If a player is hit by a handball on-the-full, they leave the zone and encourage the remaining teammates from the sidelines
  • Players within the zone can handball to amongst one another to get the ball closer to a runner, thereby making them easier to hit.
  • If a player makes it to the other end untouched, they have up to 20 seconds before they must again try to cross.
As players will be leaving at different times, there will eventually be players coming from both directions, so players inside must be alert and use plenty of instructional voice
  • Keeping score can make it fun; 1 point is scored for each crossing.
  • After everybody is tagged, add up the score if scoring, and the teams change roles
