Create a playing area with 8 cones, 10m wide x 20 long. 8 player (4 per team) start on the cones facing an opposition player. 8 or 10 players start in the middle of the square.
Start by handballing to any player. That player's team must move around the square, retaining possession. The opposition team try to effect a turnover by tackling or intercepting.
The team with the ball can handball to anyone inside the square, or can handball to a teammate on a cone, the example in the diagram shows (A) handballing to (B).
The player (B) on the cone cannot leave the cone until they have received and given to a player inside the playing arena. Once (B) gives to an active player, the player they RECEIVED the handball from replaces them on the cone, and they enter the playing area. In this instance (A) and (B) swap places.
The exception to this rule is when they get/give a 1-2 handball from someone, then they stay there.
If an interception, holding the ball or scrimmage occurs, give the ball to a person from the opposition and restart the drill.
