Middleman Multi-crumb
  • Purpose
    A sharp warm up drill that practices kicking, crumbing and handballing. Injured players can participate by being the player in the middle.

  • 3 players and cones per group, each set 20m apart. Injured players take up the middle position.
  • (A) either tumble-punts or rolls the ball to (B) who stays on the cone until the ball is released.
  • (B) picks up and kicks short to (A)
  • (A) punches the kick which (B) retrieves and handballs back to (A)
    For juniors, rather than fisting the ball, players can mark then give a little handball near their body
    (B) returns to the end of their station
  • (A) then turns about-face and repeats with (C)
  • If (A) is not an injured player, swap (A)'s after 2 minutes or so.
