Mark a netball-style court by forming 2 lines straight across the ground, touching the top of each 50m arc. Zones (A) & (C) have 3 vs 3, zone (B) has 4 vs 4. Players must stay within their zone at all times.
Coach/player (C1) kicks-in from the square to a yellow player who must lead for the kicker. The 3 yellow teammates must work the ball past their 3 red opponents and deliver to teammates in zone (B)
Normal football rules apply except players cannot leave their zone
If a players crosses the line and enters another zone, coach calls 'turnover'
The yellow players in zone (B) also attempt to work the ball past their 4 red opponents and deliver to teammates in zone (C), who attempt to score a goal.
Once a shot on goal, turnover, scrimmage, or player goes outside their zone, the coach calls 'next ball', and coach/player (C2) looks for a leading red player.
The red team now become attackers and attempt to score by working the ball up the other way to zone (A), where the 3 red players in this zone attempt to score a goal. The same rules apply regarding turnovers, i.e. a red turnover means yellow start attacking again following a (C1) kick-in.
The red team should be alert to turnovers and become an option for the ensuing kick-in
The yellow team will be out of position after their attack, so must quickly man-up following the shot/turnover
